Welcome to Galveston's World Famous,

61st Street Fishing Pier   and

Rooftop Sightseeing Deck

Build family memories and strengthen bonds that will last forever.  Our customers, with a glow in their eyes and a great big smile, share their fondest childhood memories of fishing with parents or grandparents.  They tell the staff they've come to the pier to create the same bond with their children or grandchildren.  Forgot how to fish or want to learn. This is the place to be.  Our staff will happily answer your questions, show you how our equipment works and do everything we can to help you have a great time.  This isn't just a job to us, this is what we love to do.  So, don't be shy, ask us anything .  No need to bring anything, everything you need is right here.  We have rod & reel rentals, chair rentals, tackle, buckets, coolers, sunscreen, snacks, soda (pop), water, drinks with alcohol (I like the Margaritas best of all), lime for our Coronas and much more.

WE ARE NOT JUST AN ORDINARY FISHING PIER.  Make a minimum purchase of $1.00 you can relax on our rooftop deck complete with tables and seating.  From this vantage point you can watch the action on the beach, see what fish are being caught, the surfers and/or the occasional Porpoise that feed around the pier. The 61st Street Fishing Pier is known for its clean, friendly atmosphere.  So, make it a family outing and enjoy the clean, fresh air and sunny fun we offer at the 61st Street Fishing Pier!
